Personal Prayer:
King Jesus,
I present my body as a living sacrifice to You. Transform me by renewing my mind. Make me strong in body, whole in heart, clear in mind, and alive in Spirit.
Commissioning Prayer:
King Jesus,
I pray for an outpouring of the presence of God in: my heart, my home, my church, my city. That it may result in an awakening that leads to transformation of: my heart, my home, my church, my city.
Prayer Prompts for Tempe:
1. Pray for the salvation of those in our city - that the lost are found and that prodigals come home.
2. Pray for unity of all the local churches in Tempe- that as one we would open our doors to our city and meet them with the love and hope of Jesus.
3. Pray for Tempe itself with the wisdom of Jeremiah 29:7- "Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”
Pray that we would seek peace, that our city and its inhabitants would prosper, and for spiritual impact and cultural transformation.
4. Pray for the leaders of our city.- for Mayor Woods, the City Council, and first responders.
5. Pray that Tempe becomes a place where as people come they encounter God's presence, and as they go they would take Him with them. Specifically, pray for the student population of ASU where we receive students from all over the nation and world.
