For some, the concept of "father" is damaged by earthly experience. But don't allow the enemy to steal this name of God that your soul is craving. The Everlasting Father has unfailing love, endless protection, endless provision, and endless nurture. He offers you an unshakable identity as His child. He is not distant or absent—He is Emmanuel, God with us. He is near, close, present. A perfect paternal heart cares deeply about your security, about you not feeling abandoned. If your identity is rooted in the Everlasting Father, you have an anchor that cannot be moved. He rescued you from the pit and set your feet on solid rock. Don't let past wounds determine your future relationship with the Father whose love never fails. He has His arms around you saying, "I got you. Trust Me in this."
