Jesus is Mighty God—not fragile, not seasonal, not threatened by earthly powers. His kingdom isn't cowering or worried about who takes political power or what chaos erupts in the world. He has unmatched power that transforms darkness to light, that reaches into the depths of souls who don't even know they need Him. This same power is available to you today. Have you reduced Jesus to "gentle Jesus, meek and mild"? He is the Shepherd King who laid down His life, but He is also the Mighty God whose power is made perfect in your weakness. His kingdom is not under threat. Ever. When instability and fear creep in, it's often because you've forgotten whose power backs you. The Mighty God reigns today, transforming lives, breaking chains, and establishing His purposes. His power is at work in you.
