Matthew 28:18-20
Jesus commissioned His disciples with all authority, commanding them to "go and make disciples." This Great Commission isn't just for missionaries or pastors—it's for every believer. Notice Jesus doesn't say "if you feel called" or "when it's convenient." He simply says "go." What makes this possible? His promise: "I am with you always." Surrender begins when we recognize that Christ's authority empowers our obedience. Today, consider what you're holding onto that prevents you from fully embracing God's mission for your life. Is it security, comfort, or control? Jesus asks for open hands so He can fill them with His purposes. The rocks we clutch so tightly may seem valuable, but they pale in comparison to what God wants to give us when we let go.
