Thursday
Matthew 11:25-30; John 14:15-21
"Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Jesus invites us into surrender not as slaves, but as beloved children. Obedience isn't obligation—it's privilege. When we know the Father's heart, following Him becomes joy rather than duty. Jesus leads gently, transforming our hearts before leading us into difficult places. By the time He calls us to something hard, He's already given us the strength to do it. We don't obey from fear or social pressure; we obey because we've encountered His goodness, love, and beauty. Living surrendered to Christ puts us in a posture of daily adventure, wondering what good thing He'll lead us into today. This is the abundant life He promised.
