Proverbs 3:5-6
There's a profound difference between chasing your own success and pursuing God's purposes. One leads to striving and eventual emptiness; the other leads to life in all its fullness. When you were baptized, you declared that your life is no longer your own. You died to self-directed ambition and rose to God-directed purpose. This requires daily surrender—acknowledging that His ways are higher than yours, His plans better than your best ideas. Stop asking God to bless your plans. Instead, ask Him to reveal His purposes and give you the courage to follow. True fulfillment comes not from achieving what you want, but from becoming who He's called you to be.
