Ephesians 2:8-9
You didn't earn your salvation, and you cannot lose it through performance. Baptism shows that Jesus has already saved you—it doesn't save you. This is liberating truth. Your identity is no longer rooted in what you do but in what Christ has done. You are clothed in His righteousness, not your own efforts. When you stepped out of the baptismal waters, you were wrapped in a towel representing your new identity—purified, forgiven, justified, and redeemed. Stop striving to earn what's already been freely given. Instead, live from the security of knowing you belong to Jesus. Let grace define you, shape you, and propel you forward in confident faith.
