Philippians 4:6-8

Our minds are often battlegrounds where negative thoughts, worries, and lies can take root. Today's reading encourages us to focus our thoughts on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. This aligns with the sermon's call to "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." Spend some time identifying recurring negative thoughts in your life. How can you actively replace these with God's truth? Practice the discipline of "capturing" these thoughts and surrendering them to Jesus. Remember, this is an ongoing process that requires persistence and God's grace.
