Psalm 27:4-8, James 4:8

One thing I ask from the Lord,
    this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
    all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord
    and to seek him in his temple.
5 For in the day of trouble
    he will keep me safe in his dwelling;
he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent
    and set me high upon a rock.

The sermon mentioned a prayer for "an outpouring of the presence of God." God's presence is not just something we passively receive; it requires our active response. Today, focus on cultivating awareness of God's presence in your daily life. How can you create space to encounter Him more deeply? Practice intentional moments of stillness, listening for His voice. Reflect on times when you've felt particularly close to God - what circumstances or practices facilitated that closeness? Commit to incorporating those elements more regularly into your routine, drawing near to God with the assurance that He will draw near to you.
